Police Held Major Scale Patrol in Mojokerto City

Inp.polri.go.id – Mojokerto. Mojokerto City Sub-regional Police conducts major patrol operation, involving 170 joint personnel of military, police, and related stakeholders, in prone areas. The Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Daniel S. Marunduri says that the major patrol solely aims to maintain order and security to ensure the general public is safe. “Our duty is to protect the people, to ensure that they can do their daily activities comfortably in Mojokerto City. We have to ensure no criminal actions and convoys that would disrupt public comfort,” says Mojokerto Sub-regional Police Chief on Sunday (1/28/2024). The patrol was mainly going around the two locations, which were PMI intersection and Pasar Burung intersection. Law enforcement focused on against the use of loud exhaust which could disrupt public and cause traffic accidents. Following the patrol, police was able to enforce the law against dozens of motorbikes who did not met the standard quality. Mojokerto City Sub-regional Police also arrest dozens of teenagers who were drunk driving and in convoy in Ketidur Market. The motorbikes and the dozens of teenagers were escorted to the police HQ to be questioned further. (ad/rd/pr/nm)
