inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Chief, Commissioner General Asep Edi Suheri, reminded all personnel to continue providing police services that are close, caring, and provide real benefits to the community. 

This message was delivered during the Grand Roll Call at the Precision Field, Thursday (10/8/2026).

Asep emphasized that every member of the police must be able to bring out their presence  that is truly felt by the community. Police are not only required to carry out their duties, but must also be able to listen to people’s complaints, understand the problems they face, and provide assistance and solutions.

"Be a police officer who can bring benefit to the community. That's what I always tell you all. Our presence must provide a sense of security and comfort. Don't disappoint the community," Asep urged.

According to him, the spirit of "Police with the Community" must be realized through the direct presence in the community. Security and order cannot be built by the police alone, but requires cooperation and trust from all elements of society.

Therefore, Asep urged personnel to continue building good communication with the community and make public service and concern part of their daily duties.

In addition to serving the public, he also reminded all ranks to maintain solidarity, discipline, and the honor of the institution. He stated that public trust is something that must be protected through the attitudes, words, and concrete actions of every member.
