inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Nasriadi, inspected the Palmerah Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) and the Palmerah Greenhouse, both owned by the police, on Monday (8/3/2026).

During the event, Nasriadi was accompanied by Vice Chief of West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police, Superintendent Rezi Dharmawan and key police officials entourage.

Nasriadi personally inspected every part of Palmerah SPPG, from room cleanliness, the flow of acquiring and processing food ingredients, the cooking process, to the preparation of food before delivering them to beneficiaries.

The inspection was conducted to ensure that all activities were carried out in accordance with the standards and technical guidelines of the National Nutrition Agency.

The food produced is expected to be nutritious, hygienic, safe, and suitable for consumption by the beneficiaries of the Free Nutritious Meal Program.

After inspecting the kitchen area, Nasriadi and his entourage continued their visit to the Greenhouse where they saw various types of vegetables, including bok choy, are grown hydroponically as part of the food security program.

In addition to hydroponic crops, fish farming using a biofloc system is also being developed in the area.

Nasriadi also harvested the hydroponic bok choy, which will later be used as a raw material for the food processed at the Palmerah SPPG.

"The harvested bok choy will later be processed into one of the menu items at the Palmerah SPPG," said Nasriadi.

He explained that utilizing the hydroponic crops is one step to support the availability of healthy, fresh, and sustainable food.

He also emphasized that the Palmerah SPPG is not only focused on providing nutritious food, but also part of efforts to build food independence and security through productive land use.

Through this activity, the West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police are committed to continuing to support the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program while ensuring the quality, cleanliness, safety, and nutritional content of the food provided to beneficiaries.
