Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police has partnered with state-owned pawnbroker PT Pegadaian to examine gold bars seized in connection with a corruption and money laundering case involving former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah.
The gold bars were confiscated during joint searches conducted by the Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Anti-Corruption Core Task Force and the Metro Jaya Police investigators. The forensic team will verify the authenticity, exact weight, and purity of the 74 gold bars, which weigh approximately one kilogram each.
"Regarding the handover and follow-up handling of the case, this evidence will undergo laboratory testing by Pegadaian," Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto said on Monday (13/7/2026).
Pegadaian Gemology Lab Department Head Rubika confirmed that a preliminary inspection has been completed. The official technical results will be submitted to the police to serve as evidence in the ongoing legal proceedings.
