Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya regional Police and the Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police implemented a humanist approach during a public demonstration staged by the National Board of the National Coalition for Agrarian Reform (DPN KNARA) in front of the House of Representatives (DPR) complex on Monday (22/6/2026).
Alongside securing the perimeter, police personnel distributed snacks and bottled water to the demonstrators.
"The Indonesian National Police are here to serve and secure citizens expressing their opinions. We prioritize a humanist approach so that activities run in an orderly, peaceful, and conducive manner," said Central Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief Senior Superintendent Dr. Reynold E.P. Hutagalung.
Approximately 350 protestors arrived at the location at 10.48 am, equipped with a command vehicle, pickup trucks, banners, and flags. Officers managed the flow of traffic and crowd distribution to ensure the rally did not disrupt public activities in the surrounding area. The rally concluded smoothly with speakers taking turns addressing the crowd in a peaceful and orderly environment.
