In this operation, dozens of police officers entered the karaoke area which is only about one kilometer from the Central Java Regional Police Headquarters.
After the raid, a number of pieces of evidence, including computers, CCTV footage, and important documents, were taken to the HQ.
The police also apprehended several workers at the location, including the manager of Mansion Executive Karaoke, for questioning. All parties involved, including the manager and a number of women suspected of being involved in the illegal activities, were taken to the Central Java Regional Police.
The Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Dwi Subagio, confirmed that the raid was carried out based on findings of stripping and prostitution practices at Mansion Executive Karaoke.
After conducting an investigation for about a month, the police found evidence to support the allegations, including video footage showing striptease acts.
He further explained that the police are currently still investigating this case and have not named any suspects. As a follow-up step, the police sealed the night entertainment venue.
"Yes, we sealed it," Dwi confirmed, as reported by the Tribunnews page, Thursday (2/27/2025).
His party has found the evidence after conducting a month-long investigation.
"We also have a recording of the alleged stripteases performed by several people in our findings," he concluded.
