Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Police Study Center published 48 academic books since its inauguration by Indonesian National Police (INP) Deputy Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo on 10 March 2026, to advance academic tradition within the INP in Jakarta.
The publications cover digital policing, criminology, public policy, and national security, serving as operational references for active officers across the country.
"The Center of Studies must continue to create. Research findings and ideas must be transformed into works that can be read, tested, developed, and utilized to strengthen police policies and practices," Chief Dedi said during an academic forum on Wednesday (2/9/2026).
He said that developing police science plays a strategic role in establishing evidence-based policing, where institutional decisions are supported by empirical data, research, and scientific knowledge.
