inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Charta Politika released the poll of the community level of trust to the high state institutions. Based on their poll, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) are among the top three institutions that are trusted by the public. In the survey, 7.1% of the public really trust the Polri, while 63.5% others said they trust the Polri. Responding to the survey results, the Head of the National Police Public Relations Division (Kadiv Humas Polri), Inspector General Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M. Hum., M.Sc., M.M., expressed his gratitude for the public's trust in the Police. "Thank you for your trust to us. Now we are among the top three state institutions trusted by the public, based on that survey results," said the Kadiv Humas Polri, Tuesday (26/4/2022). He also said the survey results will not make the Police forget their duty. Firmly, he said that the Police will continue to be better in order to remain the institution that is trusted by the public. "This is a motivation for the Police to continue to serve, protect and guard the community," he said. The survey sample was chosen completely at random (probability sampling) using the multistage random sampling method, taking into account urban/rural and the proportion between the number of samples and the number of voters in each province. The primary sampling unit for this survey (PSU) is a village with a sample size of 10 people each in 122 villages spread across Indonesia. The survey was conducted on April 10-17, 2022. The survey report also presents data trends based on the results of previous national surveys conducted by Charta Politika Indonesia.
