inp.polri.go.id - As many as three men were arrested by the Serang Police Women and Children Services (PPA) Unit for sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl in the Modern Cikande area, Serang Regency, Banten. Before committing the immoral act, the perpetrators forced the victim to drink with liquor. Serang Police Chief, AKBP Yudha Satria explained that the three men had the initials KA (20), SA (22) and SU (21) with the incident occurring on Saturday (21/5/2022) early in the morning. The incident began when the victim was picked up by the alleged perpetrator to a rented house in a Modern area. In the rented house at around 01.00 WIB, the three perpetrators, who was having a liquor party, then forced the victim to join in drinking. The victim refused, but the perpetrator forced her to drink. The victim finally complied with the perpetrator's request. "Due to the influence of alcohol, the victim feels dizzy," he said. In a semi-conscious state due to the influence of alcohol, the victim was molested by KA, the suspect. Suspects SU and SA, who work as casual daily laborers, then also joined. "The victim's parents were worried because their daughter didn't come home last night and searched and found the victim. After knowing that their daughter was molested, the victim's parents reported it to the Serang Police," he said. After receiving the report and examining the victim's witnesses and others, also supported by the results of the post-mortem, the PPA Unit personnel went after the perpetrators and managed to secure the three perpetrators in less than 24 hours. "The three suspected perpetrators were arrested by the PPA Unit that same day while hiding in Undar Andir Village, Kragilan District," he said. Meanwhile, The Chief Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Dedi Mirza added that the perpetrator said that they had the heart to commit to rape the girl because they were not strong enough to contain his lust due to the influence of liquor. According to him, the three are currently being held at the Serang Police. "As a result of their actions, the three alleged perpetrators were charged with Article 81 in conjunction with Article 82 of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a minimum penalty of 5 years in prison," he said.
