inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto has requested that all ministries and institutions, including the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (INP), fully support the operations of the Merah Putih Village/Sub-District Cooperative (KDMP).

Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) stated that President Prabowo delivered this directive during a closed meeting with ministers at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Thursday (7/23/2026).

"The President ensured that KDMP and Merah Putih Fishermen's Cooperative must be supported by all ministries and institutions, including the TNI and INP." said Zulkifli Hasan.

According to Zulkifli, cross-ministerial and institutional support is necessary for cooperatives to function as government infrastructure and as offtakers for various strategic programs.

He explained that cooperatives will distribute various subsidized goods and government assistance to the community in accordance with the programs of each ministry and institution.

Zulkifli said the cooperative would undergo two years of improvements before being handed over to the village government, as it is village property.

"Two years of improvements, improvements, and completion. After two years, it will be handed over to the village, because it is a village-owned cooperative," he said.
