inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto officially launched the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) on Monday (2/24/2025).
"Today, I, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, signed Law Number 1 of 2025 concerning the third amendment to Law Number 19 of 2003 concerning State-owned Enterprises and PP Number 10 of 2025 concerning the Organization and Governance of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Management Agency," said President Prabowo.
Previously, at the World Government Summit forum in Dubai, President Prabowo explained that Danantara would invest natural resources and state assets in sustainable projects such as renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, downstream industries, and food production.
The government claims that this investment can contribute to national economic growth for 8 percent.
As an initial step, seven strategic state-owned companies will be under the auspices of Danantara. The seven state-owned companies include PT Pertamina (Persero), PT PLN (Persero), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, and MIND ID (Mining Industry Indonesia).
