inp.polri.go.id-Jakarta. The Indonesian government has designated COVID-19 as a non-natural disaster in the form of a disease that must be overcome, as the number of cases increases day by day. For this reason, those who are sick or may have been exposed to the corona virus must do self-quarantine. Patients who are confirmed tested positive for Covid-19 who have no symptoms/mild symptoms can self-isolate at home. The Indonesian Ministry of Health has issued guidelines for the public to carry out self-quarantine properly. If this self-isolation is not carried out properly and with discipline, the corona virus will continue to spread to the surrounding environment. The following are the provisions for self-isolation/quarantine: 1. Always wear a mask and dispose of used masks in the designated place 2. If you are sick (symptoms of fever, flu and cough), then stay at home. Do not go to work, school, to the market or to public spaces to prevent community transmission 3. Take advantage of telemedicine or health social media facilities and avoid public transportation. Inform doctors or medical experts about complaints and symptoms, as well as a history of working in infected areas or in contact with COVID-19 patients 4. While at home, you can work at home. Use a separate room from other family members, and keep a distance of 1 meter from family members 4. Determine daily temperature check, observe cough and shortness of breath. Avoid sharing eating and toiletries and bedding. 5. Implement healthy and clean living behaviours, as well as consume nutritious food, wash hands with soap and running water and practice coughing and sneezing etiquette. 6. Keep the house clean and healthy with disinfectant liquid. Always be in the open and bask in the sun every morning (±15-30 minutes) 7. Call the health care facility immediately if the illness persists, such as shortness of breath and high fever, to get further treatment. Source: https://kemkes.go.id/
