The Central Aceh Police handed over food aid from General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to police stations for distribution to affected residents in Central Aceh Regency on Monday (2/23/2026).
The aid distribution took place at the Sanika Satyawada Building of the Central Aceh Police from 8:00 a.m. This activity was carried out to ensure that all aid was distributed orderly, safely, and effectively to those in need.
The aid was distributed through eight police stations overseeing several evacuation centers: Kota Police (1 location), Lut Tawar Police (4 locations), Bebesen Police (3 locations), Pegasing Police (3 locations), Bintang Police (10 locations), Ketol Police (2 locations), Silih Nara Police (6 locations), and Linge Police (5 locations). All aid was received in good condition and ready to be distributed to the affected victims.
In his statement, the Head of the Central Aceh Sub-regional Police, Senior Superintendent Rizal Martomo, stated that this aid demonstrates the commitment of the police leadership to the community facing difficult times.
"This aid is a mandate from the Indonesian National Police Chief for the people affected by the disaster. We ensure that each aid package reaches those in need, demonstrating our presence not only to maintain security but also to bring care and hope," said Rizal Martomo.
For the community, this aid is not just a basic necessity, but also a morale booster during these trying times.
Through this aid distribution, the police hope to ease the burden on affected communities and accelerate the recovery process.
