inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam) Budi Gunawan asked all regional heads to maintain political and security stability in their respective regions.
This must be done so that there are no regional conflicts that have the potential to disrupt the implementation of the Astacita program of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
According to Budi Gunawan the first step that must be taken to maintain security and political stability in the regions is to increase synergy between the executive, legislative, and judiciary. With good synergy, he is sure that all central government policies can be implemented well in the regions.
Second, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs explained that regional heads must also coordinate with the Regional Leadership Communication Forum in running the government.
Then, the third step that must be taken is to be careful in making sensitive policies that have the potential to cause conflict.
"For example, in determining the minimum wage for provinces and cities involving tripartite parties, in this case entrepreneurs, workers, and the government," said Budi Gunawan.
The next step is that regional heads must ensure that public services provided by regional governments must be fair and equal for the community.
"Then the fifth is reporting with correct data, so that every policy taken is right on target and able to give a positive impact," explained Budi Gunawan.
Budi emphasized that these five elements must be implemented well and consistently in order to create a conducive situation in the regions. With a conducive regional situation, Budi is sure that regional heads will easily implement the Astacita program in their respective regions.
