Riau Police Opens the Karate Championship Tournament

inp.polri.go.id - Riau Police Chief, Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal, who is also the General Chair of the Riau Province National Karate-Do Institute (Inkanas), emphasized to the karateka who will compete in the 2022 Inkanas Regional Championship of Riau, to always uphold the sportsmanship. The tournament was held at the Youth Center, Sudirman street, Pekanbaru, for two days, on September 17 and 18. The General Chairperson of Inkanas Riau hopes that the tournament will be a success and lively, and can be held every year because the athlete that won the tournament will be developed further and sent to the upcoming Inkanas Karate National Championship. This year's Inkanas Karate Championship was attended by more than 500 karateka from 12 districts/cities in Riau. The district that sent most of their athlete is Pekanbaru city with more than 100 karateka. Riau Police Chief also thanked and appreciated the committee, consisting of police personnel and the Riau Inkanas management itself, gratitude for the 2022 Inkanas Regional Championship of Riau. "Thank you to the committee of Riau Police personnel and Riau Inkanas management who have worked together in holding this karate championship," said the Two-Star General of the Riau Police.
