inp.polri.go.id - Depok. The Hong Kong Police Force delegation, led by Lau Lai-Kwan Alice visited Indonesian National Police (INP) Mobile Brigade Command Corps HQ. The visit was to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two institutions.
Through the remarks from INP Mobile Brigade Corps Commander, Commissioner General Imam Widodo, which was read by the Head of Operations Bureau, Superintendent Sonny Triyanto, the corps provided a general image of the unit to the delegation.
“Mobile Brigade Corps is the main executor of INP HQ to handle the task involving high level security disturbances. The high level security disturbances include mass riots, armed resistance, terrorism, handling of bombs and chemical, biological and radioactive weapons, and natural and non-natural disaster response," explained Sonny.
Stated by Sonny, the visit is an important moment for the two institutions. Amidst the Globalization Era with dynamic and ever-changing global situations, the International Cooperation between law enforcement institutions has become vital.
“The implementation of cooperation between the Hong Kong Police Force with Indonesian National Police demonstrates our commitment in maintaining domestic security and order. This cooperation also showed our determination to contribute in maintaining the region's stability and security against many challenges ahead,” stated Sonny.
