Inp.polri.go.id - Palembang. South Sumatra Regional Police (held a series of activities on Sunday (28/6/2026) , to celebrate the upcoming 80th Bhayangkara Day. Led by South Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, the program combined sports, environmental action, and welfare support for personnel.
“This is about building a healthier, more professional, and humanist institution. Healthy and prosperous personnel can better serve and protect the community,” he said.
The event began with a healthy walk, followed by tree planting at Wirabhakti Stadium to promote environmental preservation. Chief Sandi also handed over housing assistance and land certificates to police personnel, underscoring Polri’s commitment to improving member welfare.
South Sumatra Police Head of Public Relations Nandang Mu’min Wijaya added that the activities reflect Polri Presisi transformation, focusing on public service, environmental care, and organizational solidarity to ensure safety and order in South Sumatra.
