inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) stated that the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) that were temporarily suspended are continuing to improve their services and are committed to boost the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG).

This commitment is evidenced by an interim report, which records 1,528 SPPGs across Indonesia temporarily suspended operations until March 25, 2026. This data is an accumulation from January 2025 to March 2026.

Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, Vice Head of the BGN for Public Communication and Investigation, stated that this number shows a downward trend compared to the previous two weeks.

"There is a decrease (in suspended SPPGs) compared to the previous two weeks as they have already registered for the Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate (SLHS)," said Nanik on Thursday (3/26/2026).

She explained that the previous two weeks saw a higher number of SPPGs suspended, particularly on Java, where more than 1,500 units were temporarily stopped. Furthermore, Eastern Indonesia recorded 779 affected SPPGs, while Western Indonesia recorded 492.

Nanik explained that the temporary suspension was primarily applied to SPPGs who had not yet registered for the SLHS (School of Health and Nutritional Sciences). However, after they were suspended, most have now complied with this obligation.

BGN emphasized that this temporary suspension policy aims to ensure that SPPG standards are maintained, particularly regarding hygiene and sanitation. 

This measure is also part of national oversight to ensure the quality of nutrition services to the public remains safe and meets government standards.
