Inp.polri.go.id - Tabalong. The Tabalong sub-regional Police and the local Food Security, Fisheries, and Agriculture Department constructed a borehole in Sei Pimping Village, South Kalimantan to provide clean water to areas lacking piped water access and bolster local farming initiatives.

"This program supports water source availability for the agricultural sector, specifically sustaining rice and corn cultivation to reinforce the national food security program," said Tabalong Police Chief Superintendent Wahyu Ismoyo, on Friday (29/6/2026).

The infrastructure development marks the 80th Bhayangkara Day and follows directives from South Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan for local police units to install clean water systems in remote, water-scarce villages.

The initiative was launched through a synchronized groundbreaking ceremony led by the Regional Police Chief via a virtual meeting.
