In the homecoming, the police have to face the condition of managing a large number of people traveling back and forth at the same time. It is recorded that 85.5 million people must be regulated and escorted so as not to cause severe traffic jams during the homecoming trip. Although the preparations were carried out in a short time, various Polri strategies have succeeded in preventing severe traffic jams during the Lebaran homecoming flow this year. Continuing this success, Polri is currently preparing to face a new challenge that is no less easy, namely securing the general election procession in 2024. The plan is that since June 2022, the election procession has been carried out. According to a communications expert, Rahmat Edi Irawan, do not doubt the neutrality of Polri in securing elections. "It is too risky for the personnel to show their bias in the upcoming election. It's very dangerous if Polri is being biased favoritism towards all contestants in the upcoming election," he explained.
