inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. Thousands oh joint security personnel from Armed National Forces and National Police, also other related institution, on Sunday (7/31) successfully secured the match of Persib Bandung against Madura United in Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) stadium.
“We have indeed prepared a security plan for this match. First we have deployed thousands of personnel, although we can’t tell you how much, but indeed we have deployed thousands of personnel and it was a joint forces with an open and closed security operation,” said the Head of West Java Police Public Relations, Police Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo.
The security operation is carried out with a ring system pattern and a layered inspection, which makes there are several barriers and barricades to regulate the flow of the incoming spectators, and all of this was done to filter the unrigestered spectators who do not have a ticket.
“There are several rings that we have implemented in this operation, first from the entrance which will filter those who don’t and do have the tickets. Then, inside the stadium, there will be ring 3 and ring 2, and on these rings we will inspect the barcode and the tickets,” explained the Head of Public Relations of West Java Police.
The aim of all of this preparation is to disperse the people so as not to create a huge crowd.
“We also did a sterelization on the area, and this sterelization is that we want to eliminate any potential of disturbances such as confiscating flares, sharp objects , and alcolohol, which we prohibits,” stressed the West Java Police Head of Public Relations.
He also explained that the tickets were sold online entirely, and if there are any offline ticket sales , the police will act upon it.
