inp.polri.go.id - The Head of Cartenz Peace Operations, Commissioner Muhammad Firman, S.I.K., M.Si visits Yahukimo to directly observe the Cassowary Program at the Agriculture and Fisheries Spot, Moruku Village, Thursday (05/05/2022) Commissioner Firman was accompanied by Yahukimo Police Chief AKBP Deni Herdiana, S.E., S.H., Head of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock Yahukimo Bonggo Sumule, S.Km., M.Kes., finalist of 2015 Miss Indonesia from West Papua, Olva Alhamid, and the high officials of Cartenz Peace Ops, Commissioner Firman and his entourage conducted a survey at the Agriculture and Fisheries Spot of Moruku Village, where the community and members of the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force were jointly planting rice and feeding the fish, and it can be seen that the community is very co-operative with members of the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force. Commissioner Firman said that this review was to find out the development of the Cassowary Program in Yahukimo. "Thankfully, the community accepts our program and we can see that by seeing this field, where the community work together with members of the Cartenz Peace Ops to plant rice and feed the fish. The community has high hopes for the success of this program," said Commissioner Firman. He continued that the program aims to help improve the welfare of the Papuans. "The National Police is here to provide the best service by conducting the Cartenz Peace Ops Program in Papua, specifically in five regions, Yahukimo, Puncak, Bintang Mountains, Intan Jaya, and Nduga, to help improve the welfare of the community," concluded Ka Ops.
