The event was held in the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout area, Central Jakarta, Sunday (8/28) from 07:00 to 09:00 a.m. The carnival route starts from the Monas Cross to the HI Roundabout. "Indonesia is a country that is rich in culture, diverse ethnic groups, and has thousands of languages. To continue to uphold our unity, the red and white carnival will be held and participated from various elements of society," explained the Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, Saturday, (27/08/22). He confirmed that the red and white carnival was planned to be attended by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo., National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and the charismatic cleric Habib Luthfi bin Ali bin Yahya. "This event will also be attended by tens of thousands of people from various elements of society," said the former Head of Central Kalimantan Police. The event will include a number of activities. Starting from the red and white carnival parade, parades, interfaith prayers, national tausiah, greetings, reading pledges, to entertainment. "This activity will also be filled with various kinds of culture owned by the Indonesian nation," concluded the Head of the Police Public Relations Division.
