Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police clarify that the sexual abuse and murder case by overdosing the victim, was halted for months due to "misconduct" in handling the case.

"It was stuck for five months," says the South Jakarta Sub-regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Rahmat Idnal when confirmed on Tuesday (1/28/2025).

He explained that currently the case has reached the stage of transferring the suspect and evidence to the public prosecutor (JPU). The transfer was carried out after the new Criminal Investigation Unit is in charge.

He further explained that it was true that the special placement (patsus) carried out by Police Security and Professional Division of Metro Jaya Regional Police was given to two Heads of Criminal Investigation Units when the case was being handled.
