A joint patrol team from the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Unit of the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police and the North Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police arrested three men suspected of using methamphetamine during a dawn operation in Warakas, Tanjung Priok, on Friday (5/6/2026). 

Officers found crystal meth, a lighter, and a motorcycle during the search. The suspects were taken to North Jakarta Police for further investigation by narcotics investigators.

Brimob Unit Commander Senior Superintendent Henik Maryanto said the patrol aimed to maintain public safety and curb law violations. 

“The presence of officers in the community is both preventive and a quick response to potential disturbances, allowing people to feel safer,” he remarked..

After arresting the suspects, police continued patrols in other vulnerable areas but found no further incidents. Authorities urged the public to avoid drugs and report suspicious activity via the 24-hour Police Call Center at 110.
