inp.polri.go.id – To realize a security and anticipating wildfires, the East Kalimantan police launched Control Analysis System Application (ASAP) in collaboration with PT. Telkom and other stakeholders, Thursday (7/21). This app will help the authorities detect any potential of wildfires and anticipate the problem as soon as possible. The launching was held at Platinum Hotel Balikpapan. In that launching ceremony, there were The event was marked by the signing of cooperation between the Head of East Kalimantan Police, Inspector General Imam Sugianto, the Regent of Paser, Fahmi Fadli, the Director of Telkom, the Regent of Penajam Paser Utara, Hamdan, and the representative of East Kutai Regent. Inspector General Imam Sugianto stated that with this cooperation, the implementation of ASAP will be much more easier. ASAP is one of the regional program for early detection of wildfires in the region. “By taking advantage of the technology, we can detect any potential of wildfires in the region. Especially when we have a lot of oil palm plantations, such as Paser regency who have seven palm oil plantation and one in East Kutai,” said the East Kalimantan Police Chief.
