Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps and state toll road operator PT Jasa Marga established a strategic collaboration to enforce over dimension and over loading (ODOL) vehicle policies on Monday (3/8/2026).
Meeting at the NTMC Headquarters in Jakarta, Traffic Corps Head Inspector General Wibowo and Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Apurwantono discussed target implementations set for early next year.
Chief Wibowo stressed that tackling ODOL vehicles requires addressing root economic causes upstream alongside downstream law enforcement.
"The Traffic Corps always operates downstream. Upstream factors heavily impact downstream operations," he said. "If everything is shifted downstream without thorough consideration, the results could prove counterproductive to our goal."
To strengthen monitoring, Jasa Marga expanded its Weigh In Motion (WIM) facilities to eight locations, integrating LiDAR technology and cameras into the Traffic Corps’ Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) network to inspect freight transport effectively.
