Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps held a social outreach event titled "Jumat Sedekah" (Friday Charity) at the Rawajati waste disposal station in Pengadegan, South Jakarta, distributing basic food packages to local waste collectors.
Led by Head of the Planning and Administration Unit Senior Superintendent Budi Santosa, the Traffic Corps officers provided essential food packages and engaged in direct discussions with local workers to hear their daily aspirations.
"Police presence in the community extends beyond standard policing duties to humanistic activities that offer direct benefits to those in need," Chief Budi said during the event.
The Friday Charity program will run routinely every Friday and Sunday, aligning with policy directives from Traffic Corps Head Brigadier General Aries Syahbudin and INP Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto to build stronger police-community bonds through social solidarity and mutual assistance.
