Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)  Traffic Corps announced that Operation Patuh 2026, held from 26 October 2026 to 8 November 2026, prioritizes improving traffic discipline by focusing on counter-flow driving in high-risk areas in Jakarta on Thursday (29/10/2026).

"A difference of a few minutes is not worth the risk of losing a life. What is at stake is not only the violator's own safety, but also other drivers, pedestrians, and families waiting at home," said Head of Traffic Corps Brigadier General Aries Syahbudin.

Traffic officers are directed to increase surveillance at high-violation spots to ensure road safety, according to antaranews.com.

Chief Aries also emphasized clean, professional, and humanistic enforcement, urging the public to report any officer misconduct via helpline 110.
