Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National  Police (INP) Traffic Corps Chief Inspector General Agus Suryo Nugroho instructed West Java Regional Police and Metro Jaya Regional Police to align Operasi Ketupat 2025 with functional toll roads.

Operasi Ketupat is an annual traffic operation conducted by the police during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday season to manage the surge in travelers across major routes.

Chief Agus noted the possibility of the South Jakarta Cikampek II Toll Road being functional to ease post-holiday congestion. The road is expected to accommodate 1,000 vehicles per hour, improving traffic flow.

“This will reduce the burden on Cikampek, but at the exit points, such as KM 37 and KM 34, we may need a different approach,” he said in a statement, as reported by antaranews.com.

Authorities will finalize preparations in upcoming discussions with stakeholders. Truck operators are also urged to limit heavy vehicle movement to prevent congestion and accidents.
