Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps and regional police forces nationwide will hold Operation Patuh 2026 from 26 October 2026 to 8 November 2026.

The operation aims to enhance road discipline and reduce traffic violations that cause accidents under the theme "Police with the Community Realizing Orderly, Safe, and Secure Traffic."

"We do not measure success by the high number of citations, but by the change in public behavior toward becoming more orderly and compliant with traffic regulations," said Head of Traffic Corps Brigadier General Aries Syahbudin on Friday (23/10/2026).

A primary target of the operation is eliminating against-the-flow driving violations. Enforcement will utilize Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) alongside sympathetic warnings and safety education. To ensure transparency, Provost internal affairs officers will accompany officers during on-site traffic stops.
