Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.The Indonesian National Police (INP) recorded that the number of vehicles leaving Jakarta through five toll gates has increased to 72,607 a day ahead of the 2023 Christmas celebration which fell on Monday (25/12/12).
INP Spokesperson for Operation Lilin 2023 Senior Superintendent Ahmad Kamal Mustofa said that the figure increased compared to Saturday (23/12/2023), which was 51,082 vehicles leaving Jakarta, antaranews.com reported.
"As for vehicles entering Jakarta from Cikampek Utama Gate on Sunday, there were 29,572," he said.
An increase in the number of vehicles leaving Jakarta was also recorded at Kalihurip Gate towards Bandung, which was 62,187 vehicles on Sunday. On Saturday, there were 41,505 vehicles passing through the Kalihurip Gate.
While 62,187 vehicles entered Jakarta through Kalihurip Gate on Sunday, on Saturday it was recorded at 29,468 vehicles.
Furthermore, at Cikupa Gate towards Merak, there were 51,170 vehicles leaving Jakarta on Sunday, while the day before the number reached only 23,144 vehicles.
While vehicles entering Jakarta were 58,596 vehicles on Sunday, as many as 25,404 vehicles did so on Saturday.
The Ciawi Gate towards Puncak saw 51,973 vehicles leaving Jakarta on Sunday, while there were 38,573 vehicles did so on Saturday.
