Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi and West Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pipit Rismanto led the destruction of evidence at the West Java Police Headquarters in Bandung on Friday (7/8/2026).

"Roads are not hubs for noise, disorder, or conflict, so we must begin by disciplining motorcyclists to use standard exhausts," said Governor Dedi, praising police efforts to enforce public order.

The destroyed evidence stemmed from June 2026 to August 2026 operations that uncovered 352 street crime cases and led to the arrest of 413 suspects. Authorities confiscated 1,016 motorcycles, 12 cars, 25,000 liquor bottles, and over 2.72 million illegal hard medicine pills, primarily Tramadol. 

Chief Pipit noted that the seizures saved an estimated 3.1 million lives with total evidence valued at over Rp 20 billion. Governor Dedi announced plans to provide free standard exhausts at police posts for low-income riders.
