inp.polri.go.id - West Java Police Chief Inspector General Suntana, opened a Technical Working Meeting (Rakernis) of the National Police Security Maintenance Agency (Baharkam), while also conveying his message to his personnel, Thursday (25/8/22).
After the West Java Police Chief opened the Working Meeting, members were then given directions or briefing materials by each Chief Task Force, such as the Directorate of Water and Air Police, Directorate of Samapta, Direcotrate of Community Development, and lastly Directorate of Security for Vital Objects of West Java Police.
The Head of the West Java Regional Police said that those meeting could be used as a means of introspection and evaluation of their performance in maintaining public safety and security of the West Java Police. This meetings is also to create a common perception between the directorates of West Java Police in order to increase the cooperation between them.
In carrying out the task of maintaining public safety and security, the police, apart from being required to improve their performance, are also required to make various creative breakthroughs in dealing with various potential disturbances, by prioritizing deterrence and prevention efforts (pre-emptive and preventive actions).
“I welcome and proud to be able to open this meeting as a people's mandate that we must fulfill. This meeting must be interpreted as our effort in maintaining the existence of the Police in ensuring the realization of public safety and security, "said the West Java Police Chief.
"I hope this meeting could help us realizing humanist and effective community policing in reducing any potential threats in the digital era, and let's carry out our duties honestly and sincerely," concluded the West Java Police Chief.
