The West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) appealed to the public to use alternative routes of the South Coast when traveling to Pangandaran Beach to avoid traffic jams during Eid holiday. Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Jabar, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo said that several alternative routes have been prepared so that people can use them safely. "To avoid congestion, travelers can use several alternative routes that have been prepared," explained Kabid Humas Polda Jabar in Bandung, Thursday (05/05/22). Until today, approximately tens of thousands of tourists continue to come to Pangandaran Beach to spent the Eid holiday. It was reported that many of them are stuck in severe traffic jams for hours. Density of vehicles occurs on the arterial route to Pangandaran, starting from the Banjar City area, to the south. Therefore, according to him, alternative routes need to be used to break the density of the road. According to the West Java Regional Police Intermediate Officer, if tourists depart from the Bandung area, then the alternative route that can be taken is the Ciwidey or Pangalengan tourist route to Cidaun, Cianjur. Then, they can explore the South Coast route to the east.
