The West Java Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic Security explained that the mobility of public vehicles in Greater Bandung and the Puncak area, Bogor decreased on the weekend of September 2021. The Directorate of Traffic Security of the West Java regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Eddy Djunaedi said that mobility decreased by about 25 percent in the Puncak area compared to the previous week.
"Meanwhile, for the direction of Bandung, mobility decreased by about 20 percent to 30 percent," explained the West Java Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic Security, Saturday (09/25/21).
Police Grand Commissioner Eddy Djunaerdi said that there were 43 odd-even enforcement points. Meanwhile, there are 40 mobility blocking points in various cities and regencies.
According to the West Java Regional Police Intermediate Officer, the decrease in vehicle mobility is also expected to show that the public has now begun to obey the Government's appeal during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"So the hope is that this decline will be a reflection of the people being obedient not to increase mobility," explained the Intermediate Officer of the West Java Regional Police.
Police Grand Commissioner Eddy Djunaedi appealed to the public to refrain from staying vigilant because the Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet.
"And don't be euphoric with the downward trend in the Covid-19 number, but you still have to be vigilant by continuing to apply strict health protocols," concluded the West Java Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic Security.
