inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Narcotics Crimes Investigation Directorate conducted an investigation into the production and distribution of Whippink. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Sugiyo, Suprastyo, Asep Saprijal, Sultoni, Samet Triyono, and Etikasari.
"Based on the suspects' statements, Whippink product sales turnover in November was IDR 4.9 billion, December IDR 7.1 billion, January IDR 5 billion, February IDR 2.2 billion, and March IDR 2.1 billion," said Brigadier General Eko on Wednesday (4/15/2026).
According to him, PT Suplaindo Sukses Sejahtera, the distributor, does not have the legal status or BPOM distribution permit for Whippink products. The 16 Whippink product warehouses are located in Jakarta (5), Bandung (2), Makassar (1), Semarang (1), Yogyakarta (1), Balikpapan (1), Surabaya (1), Medan (1), Bali (2), and Lombok (1).
Interrogations revealed that Sanjaya oversees all operations, from employee recruitment to production reporting. Sanjaya requires the production site to be kept closed, and employees are required to ensure warning stickers/labels are attached to the Whippink tubes for sale.
"Article 435 of Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health," he explained.
