Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR) and National Land Agency (BPN) Head Nusron Wahid announced that securing public land and state assets will be the ministry’s priority in 2025.

“We will focus on securing not only public land but also state-owned assets, particularly those owned by the military, the police, and other state institutions,” he said on Thursday (14/11/2024).

The protection of state assets also includes safeguarding land owned by local governments and state-owned enterprises from potential encroachment by private parties.

“We aim to prevent the transfer of state assets to the private sector or individuals,” he added. “At the same time, we will protect the rights of citizens, as land is a vital source of livelihood.”

Nusron has coordinated with the Indonesian Military (TN)I Commander General Agus Subiyanto to address land conflicts and land mafia issues. He also emphasized strengthening collaboration with the Ministry of Defense to manage land assets effectively, as some TNI assets have had their functions altered.
