Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Transportation has announced that some scheduled flights by Batik Air and Citilink will be relocated from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport effective 1 August 2025.
“This measure is intended to improve public service quality at both Halim Perdanakusuma and Soekarno-Hatta airports,” said Air Transport Director General Lukman F. Laisa in a press statement on Wednesday (16/7/2025).
He noted that the ministry has coordinated with airline and airport operators and held several meetings regarding the shift.
“We have informed the airlines of this relocation plan, and in principle, they have agreed,” Lukman added.
Both Batik Air and Citilink have raised their support and are preparing to implement the move. The ministry urged all parties to communicate changes clearly to passengers to ensure travelers who normally fly from Halim stay informed through all available channels.
