inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Chairman Rahmat Bagja highlighted the importance of political education for the public to prevent violations in the upcoming election.
He said that Bawaslu has tried to implement transparent supervision principles, for example the anti-money politics program.
According to him, this is a concern for his party as this practice often happened during the election campaign.
"We already have anti-money politics villages in several regions. This is the initiative from the several programs carried out by us in handling violations," said Bagja when receiving an audience with the Bone Regional Government at the Bawaslu Office, Jakarta, Tuesday (5/20/2025).
Meanwhile, Bone Vice Regent Andi Akmal Pasluddin said that his party supports political education.
He also encouraged cooperation between the regional government and Bawaslu and the General Election Commission (KPU) in overcoming the practice of money politics which is indeed a serious violation.
