Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Bogor Sub-regional Police have uncovered a counterfeit Minyakita production site in Cijujung Village, Sukaraja, Bogor Regency.

Bogor Police Chief Superintendent Rio Wahyu Anggoro explained on Monday (10/3/2025) that the operator sourced bulk cooking oil, repackaged it to resemble Minyakita, and sold it at Rp 15,600 per liter despite containing less than a full liter.

“Our investigation focuses on quantity manipulation, as the packaging mimicked Minyakita but lacked proper labeling and BPOM certification,” he said, referring to the Food and Drugs Monitoring Agency.

Deputy Police Chief Senior Inspector Rizka Fadhila confirmed that six witnesses working for the company, identified as TRM, were questioned. Producing eight tons daily, TRM’s operation yielded 10,500 packs per day, generating Rp 600 million monthly.

Police confiscated packaging machines, oil tanks, drums, and 400 counterfeit packs. TRM will be charged under the Consumer Protection Law, which carries penalty up to five years in prison and a Rp 2 billion fine.
