inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Home Affairs has emphasized its commitment to strengthening central-regional collaboration to make the program of building 3 million houses for low-income communities (MBR) as mandated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto a success.

In his statement in Jakarta, Thursday, the Director General of Regional Administration Development Safrizal ZA emphasized the importance of collaboration to unify and synchronize housing development programs.

"With collaboration, we can break through various inhibiting regulations, open up space for new innovations, and make housing development the main driver of real economic growth," said Safrizal, quoted by Antaranews on Wednesday (5/1/2025).

He said that decent housing not only has an impact on improving the quality of life, but also boosts the Human Development Index (HDI), as well as driving economic sectors such as manufacturing, financial services, logistics, and the creative industry.

"With decent housing, children can get decent education and health, then this HDI figure will improve. With great families, the country will be great in stages," he explained.

The Ministry of Home Affairs through the Directorate General of Regional Development stated its full support for the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas in realizing this national target.
