inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto encouraged the public to be more active in using public transportation facilities.

Bima assessed that public transportation services in Indonesia are currently getting better and are the choice of many people.

"The government is also motivated to improve its services. Many people now choose public transportation, let alone officials and leaders," said Bima at Surabaya Gubeng Station, East Java, quoted by Antaranews on Thursday (5/1/2025).

During his visit to East Java, Bima had the opportunity to experience public transportation services firsthand. On various occasions on duty, he uses public transportation such as KRL to angkot. Recently, he also used the Panoramic train from Bandung to Garut.

"I am very happy to try these various forms of public transportations. Yesterday I had an extraordinary experience using Panoramic from Bandung to Garut," he said.

He emphasized the importance of ease in the ticket reservation process as part of the service that must continue to be improved.

"Because many are still confused, where to order, how to do it," Bima added.

In addition, Bima also hopes that the user comfort aspect will continue to be improved. "But I see that those two things are getting better in our KAI," he concluded.
