inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Kalimantan Regional Police to start the construction of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) Building 2 in their effort to support the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program. 

“This is a concrete step of our unit in supporting the effort of improving the nutrition of the children through the MBG program,” says Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Iwan Kurniawan on Tuesday (2/24/2026).

Irwan himself has checked the SPPG Building 2 with his entourage on Temanggung Kanyapi Street, Palangka Raya City. The inspection was to ensure the construction progress is going accordingly.

He hopes that SPPG 2 can expand the reach of MBG service and for the program to run optimally.

“With this new facility, we are optimistic that the nutrition needs of our children can be met,” says Irwan.

The Head of Central Kalimantan Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Budi Rachmat adds that the construction of the SPPG facilities are also carried out in other areas in Central Kalimantan.

Budi says that this step is part of an effort to ensure equitable distribution of supporting facilities for the MBG Program down to the district level. "Going forward, every district in Central Kalimantan will have SPPG facilities so that the people's nutritional needs can be met equitably and sustainably," explained Budi.
