Inp.polri.go.id - Sepaku. Head of Ibu Kota Nusantara Authority (OIKN), Basuki Hadimuljono, confirmed on Thursday (31/7/2025) that the relocation of civil servants to the new capital, IKN, in East Kalimantan is progressing in accordance with the government’s master plan.
“The relocation of civil servants to IKN will proceed as planned by the central government,” he told reporters in Sepaku, North Penajam Paser Regency, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Basuki said that the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform has scheduled the phased relocation of employees from 15 ministries. Currently, 1,170 OIKN staff have officially relocated and are housed in government residential towers. In addition, 109 Ministry of Health hospital staff are already living and working at IKN.
Personnel from Bank Indonesia, the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the Ministry of Public Works, and the Ministry of Housing have also begun transitioning to IKN. The process is in accordance with the completion of phase-two infrastructure, including budget allocation and the conversion of Nusantara Airport into a public facility.
