Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. Brigadier General Police Faizal Ramadani, the Commander of Damai Cartenz Task Force, said on Monday (21/7/2025) that the task force is searching for the firearms held by Male Telenggen, a member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).

Male Telenggen was arrested on 19 July 2025 in Wuyuneri Village, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua. He is suspected of involvement in shootings targeting civilians and Indonesian Military (TNI) personnel in the region. Notable incidents include the 15 August 2024 shooting of Sergean Jefri and the fatal 12 July 2025 shooting of civilian Edi Hermanto.

In the latest attack, Male Telenggen served as a motorcycle driver for the shooter, Nanubingga Enumbi. He belongs to the KKB Yambi under Lekagak Telenggen’s command.

“The presence of Male Telenggen in Wuyuneri was confirmed via aerial surveillance,” Chief Faizal added, as quoted by antaranews.com.
