Inp.polri.go.id - Wamena. Deputy Papua Regional Police Chief Brigadier General. Faizal Ramdhani and Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Uniti III Commander Brigadier General Almas Widodo Kolopaking visited the OMPC-II Post in Papua Moutnains, located in Wamena District, Jayawijaya Regency, on Friday (29/11/2024).
The visit, which included Provincial Liaison Officer Police Senior Superintendent Andi Yoseph Enoch and regional task force heads, aimed to assess public security in Jayawijaya and strategize steps to maintain a stable environment.
Chief Faizal emphasized the vast operational scope in the region and urged task force leaders to promptly report urgent issues for resolution.
“Challenges faced by personnel will be conveyed to the Police Chief and Operations Division to ensure support,” he said.
Chief Faizal also highlighted the importance of collaboration with Jayawijaya Police and the military to enhance operations. Addressing the personnel, he stressed discipline and avoiding actions that could harm the police’s reputation.
The Deputy Chief expressed hope that OMPC-II personnel would ensure a peaceful situation through the 2024 regional elections, with no significant security disturbances in Jayawijaya.
“Let’s maintain a safe and conducive environment,” he said.
