inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The State-owned Enterprises (BUMN) Minister Erick Thohir asked the red-plate airline to prepare in anticipation of 2025 Eid Al-Fitr massive travels. Erick wants no one to feel discouraged and uncomfortable in traveling by air during the muslim holiday.

“Because the vibes of Christmas and New Year are already fading on this 4th of January, we now have to prepare for the upcoming holiday, which is Ramadan, Eid Al-Fitr in March. We have to begin the preparation now,” marks Eric on Friday (1/3/2025).

Erick Thohir predicted that the surge in passengers during Eid could reach five times compared to the Christmas and New Year holidays. He also emphasized the importance of mapping the number of aircraft owned by each airline.

He hopes that in the next few months, all related parties will have a clear roadmap to support the smooth flow of air transportation during 2025 Eid Al-Fitr.

In his closing statement, he wants all related parties to strengthen their coordination in order to provide comfort and safety for the people during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
