inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating with the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Tehran and Indonesian Representatives in the Middle East to monitor the situation and anticipate further escalation, following the Israeli attack on Iran on Friday (13/6) early morning local time.

"Based on the communication between the Indonesian Embassy in Tehran and the Indonesian community in Iran, there is an update on the number of Indonesian citizens, namely 386 Indonesian citizens. The majority are students in the city of Qom," explained the Director of Protection of Indonesian Citizens at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Judha Nugraha, Friday (13/6/2025).

Until now, there has been no information that any Indonesian citizens have become victims of Israeli attacks.

The Indonesian Embassy in Tehran has also appealed to all Indonesian citizens to be vigilant and maintain their communication while informing the Indonesian Embassy in Tehran of their condition and whereabouts.

Indonesian citizens who experience an emergency situation are advised to immediately contact the Indonesian Embassy in Tehran's hotline at +989024668889.

Then, Indonesian citizens who plan to travel to Iran and Israel are advised to postpone their travel.

Moreover, Indonesian citizens who have flight plans through the Middle East are advised to anticipate flight schedule disruptions. And if in an emergency situation, they can contact the nearest Indonesian Representative hotline or through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Safe Travel application.
