Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The government is set to launch Nusantara Hub, an integrated platform for free Eid Al-Fitr homecoming travel, aiming to prevent congestion and ensure an even distribution of passengers across transport modes.
Coordinated by the Ministry of Transportation, the platform will centralize data from transport providers, allowing passengers to plan trips efficiently, according to antaranews.com.
“This initiative will help balance demand across buses and other transportation options,” said Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Pratikno on Wednesday (5/3/2025).
Authorities are also finalizing toll road discounts, domestic airfare reductions, and other travel incentives to ease holiday mobility. Meanwhile, local administrations are tasked with improving road conditions, rest areas, and tourism facilities ahead of the holiday rush.
Health checks for public transport drivers and food supply monitoring are also being reinforced to support safe travel. Officials expect a significant surge in movement during the holiday period, making coordinated logistics essential.
